Heera Lal ROY Teachers’ Training College is organized by SOCIO ECONIMIC EDUCULTURE WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA), which is working for the development and promotion of education among the masses of Bihar & India.
This institution is the manifestation of his desire and love to train teachers who would make their contribution in taking Bihar to the zenith of prosperity and development and to cater to the ever growing demand for trained teachers in the state of Bihar and elsewhere.
Since its foundation, the Faculty of Education has provided a significant contribution to the field, through its scholarly involvement in projects and initiatives, and by means of its engagement in research and policy making. While the faculty’s commitment to teacher formation is central, it also serves society by offering a wide range of courses in Education.
Through its programmes, aimed at the formation and the continuing professional development of professional and expert educators, the faculty responds to social change which shapes educational contexts. Addressing this change and proposing innovations, based on research and reflection, leads to further growth which the Faculty embraces in order to be of service to society. This is also achieved by addressing different educational needs, and giving value to them, while focusing on the development of learners by contributing to his/her individual formation.
